Skate Idaho (Southeast Idaho Skatepark Association) is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to quality skateparks across the state of Idaho. Founded in 2017, our mission is to provide safe, inclusive spaces where people of all ages and backgrounds can skate, bike, and engage in active recreation.
We believe skateparks are more than just concrete—they are essential community infrastructure. A well-designed public skatepark fosters physical health, mental well-being, creativity, and connection. These spaces empower youth, provide healthy outlets, and help reduce risky behaviors by offering a positive environment built on respect and progression.
Through local advocacy, community partnerships, and fundraising efforts, Skate Idaho has been instrumental in bringing new skateparks to life—starting with Pocatello. Our work includes collaborating with city leaders, organizing public events, supporting skate-focused charity drives, and helping design parks that reflect the unique identity of each community.
We envision a future where every Idaho community—no matter how big or small—has access to a safe, free, and inspiring place to ride.
